Cynthia Cameron

Founder, CEO and Principal Leadership Consultant,

Cindy is a seasoned facilitator, strategic planner and leadership coach. For over 20 years she has assisted government agencies to develop infrastructure, solve problems, and set and achieve objectives that ensure the delivery of valued services. She is passionate about increasing organizational capacity through building strong leaders. Her interests include hiring diverse talent, leadership coaching, and succession planning. Cindy has a doctorate in Family Ecology from Michigan State University.

Sarah Gillen

Leadership consultant and adaptive leadership/systems change specialist.

Sarah Gillen has over twenty years of experience developing leaders and advancing strategic population health improvement initiatives. Drawing from her experience in progressive leadership roles, she empowers clients as they apply adaptive management and leadership approaches to evolving public health programs and systems change efforts. Her coaching experience spans early career professionals to executive leaders. In addition to coaching health professionals, Sarah is a certified coach with United States Masters Swimming. She collaborates closely with individuals and teams as they navigate organizational change, such as shifts between in-person, remote, and return to work practices. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Mary’s College and a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

Jacob Cameron

Performance Coach and Intentional Learning Specialist

Jacob Cameron, DMA, has been a leadership consultant for 4 years, leveraging over two decades of expertise in the realms of professional performance and academia. With a robust background as a seasoned performer and university professor, he brings a unique blend of artistry, education, and practical application to his consulting practice.

Jacob specializes in fostering intentional learning, authenticity, focus, and resilience in individuals and organizations. His practical approach integrates principles from performance psychology, educational theory, and servant leadership to empower his clients to reach their full potential and achieve sustainable success.

Laura Youngdahl

LIfe Coach

Laura Youngdahl is a certified life coach with a strong foundation in positive psychology. She has a deep understanding of the challenges and obstacles that can hold people back from realizing their full potential. Using her training to guide clients in developing a growth mindset and embracing wholehearted living, she empowers clients to overcome limitations and embrace change.

Julie Hales-Smith

Retirement Coach and Evaluation Specialist

Julie Hales-Smith worked for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) for over twenty years, first as the Homeless Coordinator for the Authority, and the manager of several neighborhood and downtown revitalization programs.


Julie retired from MSHDA in 2010 and is now the principal of North Coast Community Consultants (NC3) a consulting firm dedicated to helping leaders of Michigan communities, both large and small, define and realize their futures through practical strategic planning, and inclusive community engagement. Contracts include working as a grant writer for Wayne County Parks and Recreation; assisting the Council of Michigan Foundations with their Economic Development Cohort program; and serving as facilitator for the Michigan Rural Council’s Community Assessment Program.
